- There are few treatments that have such a clearly identifiable outcome as IVF does - a baby is born or not. This allows the possibility of outcome-based fee schedules.
- We offer a pricing option with a 100% refund of the IVF fee (medications not included) if you do not deliver a baby.
- Some centers have a guarantee plan that allow only 3 attempts using fresh embryos. Our program gives the couple up to 4 cycles with fresh embryos - plus any and all associated frozen embryo transfer cycles.
- IVF clinics must be confident of their success rates in order to offer a guarantee.
- We are not the only program with high pregnancy rates. However, some programs with good success rates have high fees.
- We offer the unusual combination of high success rates and reasonable fees - making our program one of the most cost-effective in the country.
All infertile couples considering in vitro fertilization or egg donation services should compare success rates and costs before choosing an IVF clinic (see the section below).
Some programs charging $30,000-40,000 per cycle (with no guarantee) for egg donation reported success rates well below the national average.
SART and the CDC report annually to the public on IVF clicic success rates. This information allows consumers needing IVF treatments to compare (and validate) success rates from all reputable IVF and egg donation clinics.
In 2012, SART (Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology) released clinic-specific IVF program success rates for 2010 cycles on the web.
Go to the SART site to check 2010 IVF success rates
Go to the CDC site to check any IVF clinic's success rates for 2009 (or before that)

Program Eligibility (using donor eggs)*
To qualify for our refund plans using donor eggs, a couple needs to meet the following requirements:
Tests needed to qualify:
- Ultrasound to document that the uterus is normal enough to sustain a pregnancy and that the uterine lining will reach a minimum thickness of 8.0 mm (cost is $190).
- Office hysteroscopy and mock embryo transfer to document that the uterine cavity is normal (cost is $425).
- The female partner must be 49 or younger and be able to finish the program by age 50
- Couples with (any number of) failed IVF with own eggs can be eligible.
- Couples that have failed 2 or more cycles using fresh donor eggs are not eligible
- The female partner must be a non-smoker in order to be eligible for the guarantee. We will accept a smoker if she quits entirely by 30 days prior to the start of the ovarian stimulating medications. This is documented with urine and/or blood tests.
- Women that are significantly overweight (Body Mass Index over 34) are not eligible
- Women with a hydrosalpinx are not eligible. However, they can have the hydrosalpinx surgically removed and then could qualify.
- If IVF or egg donation has been attempted previously, copies of ovarian stimulation and embryology records must be submitted to us
- The male must have over 100,000 motile sperm in his ejaculate
- The couple must be willing to have ICSI, transfer 2 embryos, and freeze any leftover potentially viable embryos (frozen embryos are always used before another fresh)
*We reserve the right to approve or deny entry to our guarantees on a case by case basis.
Program Terms
- The program fee is $35,500. Each fresh cycle also will incur an additional $7,350 in nonrefundable donor charges.
- If, after up to 4 completed fresh egg donation cycles no live birth has resulted (and any frozen embryos have been transferred), the full fee ($35,500) will be returned.
- If you get pregnant and have a baby, we keep the entire fee.
We reserve the right to terminate the patient's participation after each completed cycle (very rare). Likewise, the couple has the right to terminate its participation after each completed cycle (after all fresh and frozen embryos have been transferred).
- If our center terminates the couple's 100% refund plan early (before the completion of all 4 fresh IVF attempts), the full 100% refund will be returned.
- If the couple quits the program before they complete all 4 fresh egg donation cycles the refund will be 50% of the fee after 1 fresh cycle, and the full refund after 2 or more fresh cycles as long as all frozen embryos have been transferred to the female.
The program must be completed within 24 months from the day of the first egg retrieval. As indicated earlier, each cycle corresponds to an ovarian stimulation of a donor followed by the aspiration of the donor's eggs, fertilization in the embryology lab and then transfer of embryos.
If pregnancy is not achieved, the couple will usually speak with the physician to discuss a frozen embryo transfer, or a repeat fresh egg donation cycle (after all frozen embryos have been transferred).
Included services:
- Egg retrieval
- Fertilization
- All IVF laboratory services
- ICSI
- Assisted hatching if indicated
- Embryo transfer
- Embryo cryopreservation (freezing) and storage of frozen embryos for up to 12 months
Excluded services:
- Prescreening tests on recipient woman and her male partner
- Medications for both donor and recipient
- Consultations with the physician
- Pregnancy testing and pregnancy monitoring
- Embryo storage beyond the first 12 months
- Frozen embryo storage after you deliver a baby. We begin charging a monthly storage fee when you deliver the baby - or you can transfer those embryos to ReproTech for long term storage at lower fees.
- Any frozen embryo transfer cycles done with remaining embryos after the birth of a baby. These are billed on a fee for service basis.
Medication Costs:
Donor medication costs are additional, unless the option is chosen that includes all donor meds ($3000 additional per cycle). Medications usually cost about $2000-4000 for the egg donor. Some donors will require higher doses of medications to stimulate sufficient egg production. Higher doses means increased medication cost. The recipient woman will also need medications which usually cost about $500-1000.
