Goals of the Advanced Fertility Center of
Chicago
Gurnee & Crystal Lake, Illinois
|
We believe that when it comes to
infertility treatment, bigger is not better.
We don’t brag that we are
the biggest fertility clinic, or that we have the most babies born.
Instead, we strive to give our patients more personalized attention –
the kind of care that is not possible in a very large clinic. The
quality control in our program allows us to consistently have the
highest IVF success rates in the
area.
|
Our goal is to
provide the highest quality, personalized, and cost-effective infertility and
in
vitro fertilization (IVF) services.
Pregnancy rates are always the first priority. There is only one reason
that you would see a fertility specialist. We understand how important it
is for you to get pregnant and have a baby. Everything we do is carefully
planned in order to maximize your chances for achieving that goal.
Our services are individualized to suit the needs of the couple.
Our patients get personalized one-on-one care from Dr. Sherbahn and the staff. Couples
that have been treated in large infertility programs know that this type of individualized
attention is not universal.
Honesty is critical in the infertility field. It is crucial for the physician to have a
careful, detailed discussion with each couple regarding their chances for successful
pregnancy resulting from the proposed therapy. An honest appraisal of the available
treatment options allows a couple to choose the level of treatment that is most
appropriate for them.
We sincerely
believe that the best approach is to be completely frank and honest with every
couple - even if we know that the truth will not please you. It is our job to do
our best to accurately and completely inform you.
The cost of services can be important - particularly when insurance will not pay.
Some couples in
Illinois will be covered for infertility services by their health insurance - however,
many have no coverage at all. In most other states, infertility insurance
coverage is minimal to non-existent. There are only 14 states in the US that
have any mandate for infertility services to be covered by health insurance.
Hopefully, this insurance coverage issue will improve in the future.
Our services are very
cost-effective when compared to other centers.
